Grass & Hay
Here at Parsons Farm, we partner with the UT Agriculture Extension, utilizing their products and services, to produce nutritionally effective hay, which is critical for a healthy herd. Soil and forage testing are ways we guarantee the protein and TDN levels, which give insight on how to treat the grass to alter the nutritional outcome and value. With the help of the UT program, we have been able to ensure that our cows absorb the maximum amount of nutrients from the grass they consume.
Cattle
Our goal is to produce the healthiest calves available for cow calving and the best beef for finishing. Parsons Farm utilizes the teachings of the UT Extension program to provide the healthiest grasses, nutrition systems, and immunization programs in order to produce the highest quality, most nutritious calves and beef available locally. What our grass doesn't provide, we are able to supplement with high-quality feed and minerals.
Added Value
Based on customer demand, we raise hogs to produce delicious pork products, including some of the best home-grown sausage!
Cows can be sent to the processor at convenience.
